I have connected my O2 sensor wire to my white AE800 ecu in my MY99 car but get no lights on the meter. Power (blue light) was there before connecting to the ECU.

From various postings on this board I deduced that it was the white wire with silver flecks, which was the 5th wire up on the top row of the blue plug (looking at the ecu from the passenger seat - plugs on the LHS). This all seemed to tally with my ecu so I connected it up. Is this perhaps the O2 sensor's ground wire or have I connected it to the correct one but have a poor connection?

Please advise a novice at this stuff?

thanks

I've got the right wire now. If you have the same ECU it is a white wire with silver flecks on the blue plug. Be careful as there are 2 and it's not the obviously seen one. If you take the plug out and look at it from the ecu side, count 3 across and 3 down.

Hope this helps
