HI IVE HAD TWO CLUTCHES FITTED TO MY MY99 STI VERSION 5 IN TWO MONTHS.THE FIRST FAILEDBECAUSE IT MADE A GRINDING NOISE WHEN PEDAL WAS RELEASED.NOW THE SECOND ON IS GRINDING WHEN PEDAL IS PRESSED HALF WAY.(JUST AS PLAY IS TAKEN OUT OF PEDAL)THEN IT SHUTS UP WHEN TOTALLY PRESSED.)HAS ANYONE ELSE HAS ANY PROBLEMS LIKE THIS?
OR DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX IT?

what did you replace, both the plate and cover? did you replace the release bearing too?

 

yes both plate and cover and the bearing but the funny thing is first thing in the morning when i press the peddle to take up the play it doesnt do it until i press it about 4 times the car drives spot on also the flywheel has been skimmed
