Tried to fit a Forge re-circ valve to my 22b but the small vac pipe at the bottom of the original one comes out at a right angle. This means when I tried to connect this pipe on the 22b it was too short as the Forge comes out straight. What tubing will suffice for this (as I'm going to have to replace it being too short) as have tried Halfords already I know they ain't got none!

Question

Tim,

What persuaded you to go for a different re-circ? I don't like atmos ones, as they are too noisy. Was hoping this would make a nice quiet noise, a bit louder than the original.

Other than that I cant see the point?

Used fuel line in the end. I was hoping for a "chirp" like the WRC cars but didn't fancy the TTSSH. It's not as chirpy as hoped, sounds more like a squeaky wheel at the moment!

What colour spring do u have in that baby Tim? I only got a good chirp/chatter when easing off the throttle with about .8bar on mine - can't remember if I'm red or blue spring though..

DB mark- The main reason to uprate the dump valve is to make sure it is doing its job properly. The original one will handle boost up to a certain level but after that it will struggle to get all that air out of the sustem fast enough causing the turbo to stall.
Anything past 1.1/1.2 bar is when an uprated one should be considered. 1.3/1.4 bar + then one is almost definatley a good idea. BR developments also recommend this.

Thumbs up

Thanks Nezz, I suspected it was a capcity issue but people have always rubbished the theory when i've asked before.

Does it sound any different? I would like to hear it a *bit* more!
