Question,

Is the intercooler as fitted to my 98 STI type R the same as the intercooler as fitted to a 99 STI5/ P1 ?.

More importantly, would an intercooler shield from a 5/P1 intercooler fit a 4 intercooler?

cores are different,

cant remember why but version 5 type is superior.

greater density of chambers, or turbulators, cant remember which but improved regardless.

think it may be larger too which means protectiove mesh wont fit.

ring pete croney at scoobysport as he will know definitively since he sells the things.

Ive just got the details of the spacing between the mounting holes and they are the same as on my Sti4R. Weird?
