Default Location dowels on 54 Blobeye

Hi All.
Just spent a lovely weekend getting engine and gearbox out of my blobeye. On the gearbox there are 2 location dowels, should these be on the block or gearbox or one in each.

Thanks

Should be in the block...they have just got stuck in your gearbox when it's been removed.

I don't suppose it really matters, as long as you don't have one in the block and one in the gearbox in the same location :-)
