Gearbox code location?

Hi all.

I have a 6 speed conversion in my classic and was just going to order a few bits for it but the supplier needs to know which gearbox it is.
Is there any way to tell with it still attached to the car?

Yes lift the bonnet and look at the sticker if it's still on there,if not then no way of knowing.

its on the passenger side of the bell housing around the starter motor
