Hi gang,
Which is the best best sounding dv for a 99(t)uk turbo, is it the one that bolts onto the inter cooler or is there a much louder, better on out there?? i want it to dump to atmosphere, to get the flames throwing!!!

damnit i cant find this thread after 10 mins! Was in middle of reading it when Scoobynet went down briefly last week - needed the conclusion... Any ideas as we have no search?

Best sounding depends on your taste. Some of the loudest are Blitz HKS and TurboXS. My forge isn't exactly subtle with the uprated spring.....

Hi Scoobyjawa,
Is your forge dv the one that bolts on the intercooler? How do you uprate the spring or do you just ask the supplier??

Yep - mines the one that fits to the intercooler. Piece of cake to fit, just ask the supplier to get forge to send a spring with the dv or if you have received the DV just phone Forge and they'll send you the blue spring Free of Charge. Then you just open the valve up, replace the red spring with the blue - do it up and away you go!!
