Due to overboosting recently, I think the figures where around 1.2 bar but obviously peaking slightly higher than this causing the brick wall effect, I had the boost reduced to 1 bar. Thing is, I don't like it, the car now seems to hesitate a little more when WOT before the turbo kicks in (in 1st - 3rd) and the difference in 4th and 5th is noticabley slower acceleration.

Question is, if I increase again to 1.2 bar what else can be done to prevent the overboost problem, and could this cause reliability/detting issues.

The car is an STI 2.
