5x100 to 5x114 conversion
Looking at changing my 5x100 setup to 5x114, first reason is the amount of wheels that can be had in 5x114 and are considerably cheaper than 5x100.
Second reason is am I right in thinking the 5x114 front hubs have larger/stronger bearings? and also the rear hubs will allow me to use my 2 pot brakes without the adapter (I don't like using adapter or spacers)
So if I was to buy the following..
5x114 discs all round
Pair of 5x114 front hubs
Pair of 5x114 rear hubs, with the larger handbrake shoes and hardware
5x114 coilovers
Would that be everything needed?
Cheers

You will need r180 hubs, drive shafts, diffs, hand brake assembly, brake discs, rear calipers, you can machine the hubs at AS Performance to suit 5x100 coilovers, looking at 1k in materials let alone the cost of fitting it too...

Will the r160 driveshafts not fit the rear hubs? if I have to buy a rear diff to im gonna need a gearbox lol
Thinking a cheaper option, get a machine shop to drill/thread 5x114 stud pattern on the 5x100 stub axles and then all I will need it the discs and rear backing plate/hardware to suit.

Not possible on either account....
R160 shafts will not fit the hubs, nor is there enough meat on the hubs to have them drilled to 5x114.3.
Unless you are doing a full conversion it is not possible. I need to do it to mine but mine is out of need for stronger CV's and shafts etc....

The only decent adapters around are the Project Kics ones, tried many other brands and they just arent up to the job. Poor fit, ot storng enough etc, and a set of 4 prject kics ones will set you back about £650.....
