Default Front diff ratio question

Can anyone work this out, I have the gearbox below:

TY752VN4BA 3.454 1.947 1.366 0.972 0.738 3.416 1.000 4.111 Viscous (4kgf) Open

My question is, according to the data online the front diff is 4.111, but when removed has 10 pinion and 39 ring gear teeth, so is 3.900 ratio? The box doesn't look like it has ever been apart so doubt just the diff has been changed.

What do people think?

joys of internet and forums, got to sort out wheat from the chaff.

That gearbox code denotes a 3.9 front diff.

It will be 3.9 front diff, depending on the drop gear ratio i.e 1:1 or 1:1.1 will depend if its a 3.9 or 3.54 rear diff.

The drop gears are 30 and 33. Does that equate to 3.9 or 3.54 rear diff?

Cheers

"VN" is a UK code and therefore it has the correct 3.9 front and 1.1:1 drop gear ratios

p.s. it should have a 3.54 rear
