Has anyone had any experiences with a paddle clutch on there Subaru.What are they like to cope with on a daily basis.Im looking at a ceramic puk Clutch I think they call it,the 6 paddle one.I want to know if I give it abuse the clutch will take it and it will be ok with normal driving conditions

Never liked them on a road car. Sitting in rush hour traffic constantly having to rev when pulling away to stop it from stalling. Just not for me.

Do the clutches vibrate and judder ive never had one.Im gonna do a clutch change and only want to do it once

They work great flat out but everyday they genuinely suck. Not worth it

Its just a road car but it gets abuse and the missus drives it most of the day and she can be very heavy footed.I plan for more power at some point and don't fancy changing the clutch again for mods further down the line.Ive seen alsorts of clutches. at various prices and I don't fancy a clutch and flywheel package

something like an ACT uprated organic would be my offering in that case - very good quality and will withstand a high torque level

There are lots of different types of paddle clutch out there including sprung, rigid, 3 paddle, 4 paddle, 6 paddle etc etc. All have varying levels of drivability.

On a car used just for the road there are plenty of full faced clutch options available with decent power ratings which are very nice to drive.

Ive had an update from the seller on these paddle clutches and he says its down to the poor fitment from the mechanic like when the sprung clutch is fitted and the mechanic is trying to line the splines up on gearbox and clutch .And the box isn't going in straight and when the box is going in its left hanging or something like that putting strain on the clutch.

Ive never had a paddle clutch and I don't no what one feels like to drive on.I do no a lot of the ford boys with rs turbos and cosworths use them though
