Default diff problem?

Hi guys,

When powering round corners I'm getting a vibration/crunching feeling through the wheel. It's got to be diff related.

Any ideas?

It'd be helpful to know what car you're talking about ......

It'll either be a failure of the centre diff, or a failure of the Front diff. [ By internet diagnosis ]

It could be a drive shaft CV joint but they are usually strong enough to take most abuse.

Get it to someone who can diagnose by driving it and listen to what they say. We can help if you wish you are about an hour away.

Just look out for someone who diagnoses big trouble and you get ripped off by doing more than necessary.

Good Luck David

The car was repaired under warranty just. The 4,5th synchro had started to fail, I mentioned the diff and they said they found no problem, there definitely is a problem though so looks like they need to sort it

My Car is currently with API Baz, if you get stuck they are definitely worth a shout, been extremely good so far with myself, I made the hour journey up to them as they in all honesty were the only people whom offered any good advice.

I know there awesome mate but 2hrs from me.

Just messaged C1R in stourbridge as only 40mins away. Failing that I'll make the journey to API.

Only just had the thing back after having the synchro done on warranty
