ive been building my 96 wrx upto spec recently and as you with all early classics know you need a chip installing to enable a remap, after vast researching and a big variance in price

and a couple of other big names asking the same , i looked further afield, as mine has vf23 turbo, full decat, hks headers up pipe, sti intercooler, 440 injectors , walbro, and hks evc , no generic map would do thus cancelling most of the ebay mappers out, then i found some info on ESL ENDURING SOLUTIONS who work with pts (big cossie and evo specialist) andy who works for esl offered me everything i needed , the initial chip £195 and a remap on it suited to my mods £50 plus £5 packaging , this catered for everything i had done to my car and it enabled me to keep my check engine light operative (very important), since fitting this to my car (also running 1.25 bar) ,absolutley flies and i mean is quick . and its so much smoother with crisp throttle response, all in all i think this is the place to go , andy listens to what you want and provides it at the right price with massive technical knowledge, his email is andy@enduringsolutions.com . and he is on here under esl . cheers rob
