From: Leeds - It was 562.4bhp@28psi on Optimax, How much closer to 600 with race fuel and a bigger turbo?
Well big thanks to scoobyclinic and Pat today.
Turned up at around 10am on a sunday
thanks to steven (p20spd) borrowing a trailer and towing me down.
Pat arrived 15mins later and fixed a customers car whilst we made use of the floor and fixed a blowing backbox and downpipe gasket (ok silicone sealer).
we then got my car onto the rolling road, whilst I had a quick in at the deep end lesson on how I was to operate the rolling road.. Did I mention I had to drive the car at the same time? Hard work for me on a sunday morning!
A bit of test runs revealed that the fuel pump mods meant that we could remove a **** load of fuel. once this was done we did a few runs..
after a bit of playing we managed 460bhp @ the wheens and 521.7 at the flywheel at 23psi boost. However this was the last run as the subframe decided to make a hole in my exhaust.
As I want to run at elvington next week, and mapping isnt finished, scoobyclinic have offered to fix the car for me. All I can say is 'NO ONE HAS EVER, WORKED ON MY CAR... They are! Says it all really
So anyway big thanks to scoobyclinic for use of your new RR, despite me threatening to break it on here
And sorry to upset you kev when you thought the 460 was at the flywheel
so if you at the clinic this week.. hands off my car!
few pics..

Only thing is, Im about to ring the clinic, and see if they will do a couple of other things whilst its there..
ARGH..

hows that work, because I havent done 'all' the work?
Andy..
take car from leeds -> chesterfield.. break it chesterfield -> leeds -> chesterfield -> elvington..
NAH..
besides dropping subframe and welding whilst on ramps would be a lot easier than trying to weld whilst laying on the floor..
Weld 'splatter' in your ear isnt nice.. and I dont think I can tig weld whislt laying on my back.

Ads, i was talking to someone on the phone, whilst in the engine shop, and they were struggling to hear me while davids car was on full chat
Cracking place they got there. Dead simple, what you see is what you see, Kevs speaks English, no bullsh1t, just plain good old english.
It isnt marbled floored, or anything like that, just straight forward.
I am now thinking of taking mine down for all the paintwork sorting out.

lolI can't wait to see Davids car at full boost!

It must be so much fun watching your hard work and ££££'s paying off producing great graphs on the dyno!
Fingers crossed for the reliability factor David
