Default Litchfield Imports

Evening,

has anyone had any experiences buying new from Litchfield Imports. They are offering a UK spec MY05 car at very reasonable prices and the same warranty packages that main dealers have.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experiences good or bad. Lots of websites speak very highly of the Type 25 and Spec C they supply, but what is their service and after sales care like.

cheers

Ash

If you stay long enough, you might even get Ian Litchfield on Scoobynet, he is quite a regular! And yes, go ahead and buy from them, they are an extremely serious bunch of people and highly recomended from scoobynet!... Well they get my vote at least!

Can anyone let me know Ian's phone no please. Need to change away from my Baby Blue (DBM 02 WRX saloon) to a Crystal Grey Wagon thought Ian might be able to help.

I bought a MY03 JDM Sti through Litchfields and I am very happy with the car. If I am ever in want of another scoob in the future Iain will be first port of call.

While your there compare the UK spec cars to the JDM, it might change your mind

2nd march is probably on schedule.

Ordered August after being promised 6-8 week delivery, took delivery December.

Yes, same SVA centre, but they're just very busy. Currently using j.r-xrs's Clio (very nice thank you) but simply cannot wait for the 2nd March.

Must try not to ring Iain every day - probably cut down to 4 times a week now

Some of delays at SVA can be the DVLA not processing paperwork until they feel like it . I waited ages for the 'Zed Numbers' from DVLA to be able to get the test done at Donington. About 6 weeks if I remember.

I don't think there's any particular problem with the test itself on the late cars, now that the model report is finalised - it's more about getting hold of the paperwork.

Which is completely out of Iain Litchfields hands and any other import car dealer.
