AFAIK Ian orders them from Subaru direct, specifying the 2.5l US spec engine and the Jap spec turbo (twin scroll) and drivetrain (DCCD-A). On arrival in the UK they are sent direct to Powerstation for a bespoke suspension & geometry set-up and some tuning/mapping.

The 2.5 conversion is available, though I don't recall who does it. Try Powerstation/TSL/BRD/Scoobyclinic etc.

Corradoboy is wrong, I'm afraid. The cars come over from Japan as either the standard model ('ZL' for 2005, which includes DCCD-A etc), or the Spec C depending on customer preference. When these arrive they're sent to Powerstation, where the 2.0 bottom end is substituted for the US 2.5l version. The Japanese heads are retained and a new, larger twin scroll turbo replaces the standard version. Geometry, suspension, exhaust etc are done too.
