NeiIo,

I asked TSL, I think they said they don't go beyond 300bhp on the wrx.

I think they offered me an upgrade with hi flow cat that was around 280bhp they did recomend a fuel pump upgrade (this is the only company I have talked to that recomend this for this bhp)not sure if this is the wise upgrade or over cautious?

Thumbs up

Requested info from TSL's site on Sunday, not got back yet... maybe Trouser can relay this
What are the options for a PPP MY03 STi? very interested as to what can be done with this and the costs. I'd really like the switchable map! i.e. as PPP but switchable to around the 330 break mark! Question- would 330 be attainable on the PPP fittings as I don't wont to change them! I'm not sure its worth spending the $$$ for maybe a 15-20 bhp gain. the 30 from the PPP pack wasn't that noticable to be honest, i certainly didn't think "bloody hell thats big difference"

Time to go for a test in TSL's I Live in Leeds but work 10 miles from TSL. I'll take the G/F and let her film the experience if its ok with them.

No worries mate.. obviously within legal speed limits of course

The 333 package consists of...

DeCat Downpipe, .. or Thundercat Sports cat
Straight through centre section
Choice of Group N, Tornado or Firestorm backbox.. fitted

TSL Green filter... fitted

ITP 160 Fuel pump.. fitted

Bespoke ECUTEK map by Richard Bulmer

Price depends on exhaust options chosen but with a decat downpipe and Tornado the whole conversion is £1726 INC. VAT

Cheers

Paul

Rather than e-mailing, pick up the phone, and speak to Paul or Graham.
Both very knowledgeable, and very approachable.

This package is definitely worth it.

I got a similar package from elsewhere just 1 week before TSL announced this

Oh well, drop them a line, you wont regret it

Question

Ive been told by a very good source that you have to start from scratch with the ecu.

Just a question for trouser (paul)

To get 400bhp out of a Sti 8 what would Tsl recommend ? Im thinking of getting shut of the ppp

P.S Will be booking the car in for the fast road geometry set up (leda B)

Hi guys

at the risk of this turning into a blatantly commercial thread ..not that I mind of course.. please give us a mail/call and I will be happy to deal with each reply in detail.. or even have a chat with Richard.. he knows so much

We do offer a similar conversion for the WRX.. but the limiting factors here are the size of the turbo/intercooler/injectors etc.. the conversion ends up @270/270.. but very driveable nontheless. We can offer a change of turbo and injectors and this is capped at 300BHP for the poor old pistons sake.

As i say.. please do contact one of the team here if you would like more advice or a chat

Cheers

Paul

I've had my sti 8 done at TSL and the outcome of the remap is summed up in one word "awesome".

Also had the prodrive springs fitted and strut brace.
It makes me smile everytime I drive it, It turns the wife's stomach when you plant the gas pedal. Worth every penny imho

Go On Do It

Smile

Andy,
I would like it done, but I've already got the PPP kit. So I was thinking it should really just need a remap... or some-other small modification. did you get in the region of 325break?

I'm sure that's what a majority of PPP owners are thinking.
Anyhows I'm giving them a call... they seem spot on.!

I'm only down the road, wou'll have to take me for a little bimble around...

Dazza,

Mine was already ppp when I had this done and the difference was staggering it's now a different car. ppp is a poor map compared to this imho.

Get yourself down to TSL and let Graham take u out in his car and see the difference for yourself, I couldn't believe it.

The cost for the remap only was around £750 including vat.

Cheers Andy, did you just have the remap, and take advantage of the PPP kit already fitted?

If this is the case and the its as maked a diffence as you say then...
