I've been over to Prosport in Stockport seeings that Mainland in Widnes has closed down.

The guy over there 'Peter Conolly' is a really genuine bloke. I went to have some work done and there were lets say "a few problems" not of Prosports doing but Pete and Giles the Mechanic really put some effort in and made everything happen.

Giles the Mechanic did an absolute perfect job on the car and Peter talked me through everything and gave some good sound advice. I had a coutesy car whilst all this was going on and i got my Scoob back washed and hoovered with a full run down of all the work carried out.

THANK YOU Pete it was a real pleasure dealing with you and i was really pleased with your prices. It's good to know that i have somewhere to go who understand the enthusiast (as they have four rally Scoobs, one of which is a championship winning car)

Yes i agree that main dealer prices arn't that much more. Trouble is, i've found main dealers not to give a **** about your car and Prosport DO!

Can you disclose any details why you were so upset with Prosport Molly?

 

Ive never had anything but helpful, friendly service from Pro Sport
And as to being close to dealer prices... well the equivelent service my scoob had at her 3 yr (i had the cambelt done also) would have been nearer 600 quid rather than the just under 400 quid i paid... ill let you work that one out

Nothing but praise here too. In the nearly 4 years i've been taking my scoob to Pete i've not had a single problem. They know the cars inside and out, comparing them to main dealers is just not comparing like for like. The service is far better, plus i'll never go to a main dealer after one tried to tell me that my car does not have a MAP sensor .
