Thumbs up

Had my MY00 MOT'd last week. The car sailed through the test even with the full de-cat and I was pleased to see they didn't think about testing my brakes on the rollers. A quick test drive and all was done.

***** With respect, do you really think they'd appreciate being named on a public BBS? *****

So pleased with the service I received as I was beginning to think a drive to Essex, to one of our specialist friends the easiest option to get her through the test.

£32 job done

you might want to remove the address and details so that the place in question doesnt get prosecuted
thereby making your MOT invalid, the people go out of business,. everybody loses...
just a thought I just thunk...

IIRC I never stated that they did anything illegal - they tested the brakes on the road and got the car through the emissions test, how I did not mention. When I was given my keys back the car was de-catted again as per my wishes.

4 wheel drive cars normally have to be tested using a dynamometer anyhow, as most places can only test the front two wheels - resulting in diff lockup.

This isn't as dodgy as it looks people!!!
