I tend to do regular engine oil changes (every 6-8000 km, but recently found out that the dealer is doing only half of what he is supposed to do....
My car has now 65000 km on the clock and, thanks to the maintenance schedule on the Scoobymania website, I found out that lots of stuff has not been done as it should, engine coolant, brake fluid, gearbox oil not been replaced upto now and lots of things like cambelts, fuel system etc have not been checked as per the above mentioned schedule....

Does your Impreza maintenance booklet have a maintenance schedule? I checked the entire book and there isn't one in mine. When I look at the missus car (Daihatsu Cuore) maint. boklet, it describes exactly what has to be done at the different stages (5k, 15k 30k etc...) and this car's cost was only 1/4 of the Impreza....

Just wanted to post that here, have nothing else to do at the moment....at least I'm in for a gearbox oil change this afternoon

That's only the main items, there are a whole load more checks and activities that don't get listed.

Is there somewhere a place on the net where one can see ALL the items that should get checked/replaced?
