My car MY99 UK Turbo is up for it's 60k service at the end of the month so I decided to phone a couple of dealers in the local area and get some prices...

Carstins £477
The one in Wolverhampton (forgot the name) £438
Cutlers £445
Showells £402 + Curtesy car

Bloody hell what a difference!

I think I know where my money is going.

Anyone else have prices ?

 

I am 95% certain that the 60k service on my 99MY Turbo was £327 at Fenny Compton Subaru (near Leamington Spa) about this time last year, so £350 ? And they know what they are doing as well.

 

Ian that's y i didnt go2 Carstins this time round (did u no they use part synth oil n all ) although mine was 90k so even bigger!!!
I used Roger Clarkes as while they aren't technically a subaru dealer so wont give u a stamp 2 keep any FSSH history IMO they r better, do better work, give better advice & all for a cheaper price. Quick translation they r the Daddies!!!!!!

Fenny's price will include a loan car as well (just top the fuel back up) provided you give them notice when booking it.

I think they've got rid of the Justy loan car they had - last one was a 1.6LX FWD saloon which was surprisingly good fun for 90bhp !

 

A car doing a curtsey. That's something I'd like to see.

 

Got my MY99 serviced last week (60K) at a dealership and found an even bigger difference:

Lancasters Sevenoaks = £520
Walldonway Maidstone = £410

I must say I was very impressed with Walldonway.
