Hi all,

Currently got a Volvo S60 T5 but going through second youth and have had a test drive of an STi and want one!!!

Litchfield seem to have a good reputation on here. But another question about warranties....as I understand it a car bought through an official European dealer carries an offical pan-European warranty - so no problem.

But i THINK Iain imports his Euro spec cars direct from Japan - so what warranty does it carry? Comments especially welcome from anybody who's had to resort to using a warranty on a car from Litchfield. Also - what about recalls? Presumably a UK dealer isn't obliged to sort out a fix on a recall if it wasn't bought through an official dealer?

I'm sure Iain will be along shortly but here goes

IIRC Litchfield supplies both JDM[Japanese Domestic Market] or Grey Imports and Euro Supplied UK Spec Cars

Euro Supplied cars will be serviced by UK Subaru Dealers

JDM won't officially be touched with a barge pole by UK Subaru Dealers but there are many Subaru Specialists that will ScoobySport,ScoobyMania and TSL to name just 3

Thanx -so the UKspec cars ARE from an official European dealer??? And to be specific is it an EU dealer as opposed to Cyprus or whatever?
