Default beats headphones

whats the story with some side shops and places selling Dr Dre Beats headphones for £70. Sure they are £200+.

Are they copies, faulty, or they replicas with the same quaility just cheaper.

Any one own any cheaper ones, decent?

No idea, probably fakes, but then it's all about the brand with those not what they actually sound like.

Save your money and get some Sennheisers or similar.

I bought some beats in-ear phones for the iPhone for £50. Didn't notice any difference. Then I purchased a graphic equalizer app for 69p ... what a difference that made. Not sure what all the fuss is over tbh.

Apparently , Dr Dre has made more money with headphones than his music. No wonder at that price !

where I work in saudi arabia you can buy really nice sets of fake beats headphones
for £20-£30 for the really good fakes

my work mate bought three sets and took them back to the staff house and let me play around with them and the sound that came of of the fake ones he had bought was excellent.

most fake will probably have **** sound but these ones were surprisingly very good

I'm on about ones over the head. They come in white with red lining. Are the ones for 79.99 any got or just fake. Loads selling on net for that, no point paying 200+ for something which almost looks sounds the same. Not interested in other brands, just trying to get to the bottom of these
Thanks

when i recently bought my in ear ones, all the reviews said to buy from a genuine retailer as there are a lot of good fakes out there which, although are ok, don't last very long. always best to get a manufacturers warranty with them.

They are cr4p. I've got Bose QC 3s which are three million times better and not a lot more expensive.

no point spending a lot of money on head phones if you listern to mp3 as the format is so compromised to achieve the compression

DrBeats is hype better to buy Sennheiser or Grado but listern first as sound is a very personal choice

I'm yet to hear a decent set of Beats, the sound reproduction is awful imo, they're just overhyped trendy cans, marketed to the right audience who pay well over the odds for very ordinary headphones.

Indeed, the ones I listened to were utter carp. Popular with iphone users unsurprisingly. Name over substance every time
