Hi
Anyone got ixus v and found it to be software-incompatible with XP?

Canon's site is not helpful and their telephone support line simply isn't answered and cuts you off.

Is there a solution available apart from goinng back to Windows 2000?

mmm... It might be the movie software that is incompatible then.

Yup, got my original Ixus working on XP in minutes.

Have you got the drivers from http://www.powershot.com? There's a specific section covering which drivers to use on XP.

Are you talking about the actual drivers or the codecs needed to view the avi files?
