Default Upgrading graphics in Alienware laptop

Hi there,

my lad has a 2 year old Alienware M14 laptop with nVidia graphics card. Problem is, newer games like Rome Total War 2 etc are a bit laggy.

Is a graphics card upgrade possible? Any input welcome.

Cheers!

Pretty sure it's not possible since it's a soldered item.

You can upgrade the CPU (Socket G2 Intel Sandy Bridge), RAM (up to DDR3-1866) and the HDD (perhaps to an SSD) to improve performance.

Thanks Dunk - turns out it is soldered to the MB, according to Dell.
