Default Samsung Galaxy S3

I can't believe that i kept my iphone for so long, i'm neither an apple or android fanboy, i just appreciate good technology, android has come a long way since i owned a HTC Desire. The phone is incredibly fast, the screen is amazing, the layout of Android and the way its so easy to use is really impressive. Can't say much more really, the phone speaks for itself quite literally.

I'm torn between this an the HTC One X+.
Can get same deal on O2 for both, so I'm just trying to decide if I really need a micro sd card and removable battery that the S3 has.

The removable battery is certainly a good thing to have as you can carry a spare for those long trips where you don't have access to a charger like on a train or if your out watching Rally GB etc.

I have the One X+, brilliant phone, really can't fault it.. I don't mind the lack of SD card 64Gb storage is fine, and honestly, it holds more than enough charge that I'd never need a second battery.

The beats audio does make a fair difference aswell, I was rather sceptical about it, but the sound quality is crystal clear

The reviews seem to be good on the HTC One X, i'm sure you'll be fine with either, its always down to personal choice in the end.

I'm afraid APPLE have lost their way .... only the fanboy sheep buy into the iXXXX anymore.

My daughter has had an S3 since they came out - it blows away anything from the Apple stable.

I have had a Galaxy S3 for a few months now, alongside an i4.

I just find the S3 slow/delayed and clumsy, and always go back to the i4.

Just my 2p worth..

You must have a faulty S3 if your iphone 4 is faster than your Samsung Galaxy, ive used a 3GS, 4S and iphone 5 and the Samsung is a lot faster than than all 3. Ive not been using my Samsung for long, straight out of the box it was noticeably a lot faster and smoother.

Really?
My S3 wipes the floor with the iphone 4 I had, if I were you I would either reboot the phone or press and hold the home button and see how many apps you have running in the background and even then it still whoops ***

Was in Carphone Whorehouse earlier and according to the blurb, the S3 mini has a faster processor than the S3.

I thought the S3 Mini has a dual core processor as opposed to the quad core in the S3?

No idea Chris, I was just browsing and cursing my phone.

It was just on the printed spec. According to the Whorehouse, the S3 has an 800mhz processor, whilst the S3 Mini has a 1.2 Ghz(?) processor. Wasn't paying that much attention as they are out of my price range.

yep s3 mini has duel core plus wrong core speeds for both

the new 4g s3 now comes with 2 gig of ram a nice extra bonus

the new premium suite has some great features low light shots on the camera are great plus split screen 2 apps at once works a treat

S3 has a quad core 1.4 processor and 1 or 2 GB ram depending on 4g or not. The mini is dual core and 1gb ram I think. Just got a nexus 4, so much faster than my 4s was, a few bits I prefer on the iPhone but in general I'm glad I tried something different

Jack, this isn't having a go at you btw as everyone is entitled to choose what they want.

Do you side with apple just for arguments sake and to see how many people you can catch in your net as you can't honestly believe that the iphone in any version is better than the Galazy S3 ?

Ive owned a couple of iphones, ive also used my mates iphone 5 and its not in the same league speed wise or anything wise comapred to the Samsung, the only thing i really liked about apple was itunes, the iphone is too restrictive, you can't use flash, your stuck with the memory size you buy from new as it can't be upgraded, anyway its each to their own and everyone is entitled to an opinion.

I don't give a monkeys what phone you use, I'm sure you'll love it. The iPhone 5 is much better than the S3, give it a year and you may appreciate why.
