Apple are getting worse!
I got a 32gb 4s in September it's been replaced twice and now due for another replacement!
1st error was I was echoing to other callers
2nd a screen defect which I swapped this Sunday
And now the one I've got is echoing again.
I'm a fan boy but even this is testing !

I've had every iPhone from the 2 to the 4s (not bothered about the 5)
And this the only one I've had constant problems , wouldn't be too bad but it's a 2 hour round trip everytime

Vodafone has got much worse. The company that I work for uses it and it used to be by far the best signal. However, my wife has EE (Orange to be precise) and she gets a much better signal than me most of the time.

My 5 is pretty cack for Bluetoothing (my 4S was fine) and definitely drops calls.
Otherwise it's not bad but £600ish is a TOTAL rip off.
I have a PAYG SE Active (waterproof, shockproof, very small) on Orange for using in our village - no O2 reception at all! Got an O2 boostbox at home/office which whacks it up to full bars (and 3G) but only inside the house.

A friend of mine has a 5, the finish doesn't look very durable. He's not had it long but the black finish is already looking really tatty round the edges.
It sounds like you've been rather unlucky, always found my iphones to be reliable. Are you getting the new ones from the Apple store? I'm rather sceptical getting phones swapped by phone companies.

I have an iphone 4, due for an upgrade in April after my 24 month contract. It has been working perfectly up until last month when I dropped it and the screen now has huge cracks in it, the battery only lasts me till 5pm, and the loud speaker is a bit dodgy. Regardless, I'll still be getting the iphone 5 come April time.

Like anything, be it ios/android/windows os and get your downloads from an unofficial source, you are asking for trouble.
