Over the last few days my server running 2000sbs has been crashing. This morning when it crashed it took ages to boot up, when it did boot up it stopped running services on the system such as allowing users to access email. Once rebooted it’s okay for a few minutes then comes up with the following.

“HEALTH MONITOR”

MEMORY
Severity Warning
Data Collector Memory
Threshold Page Fault / sec > 200
Alert Memory: warning condition WMI status:0

PROCESSOR
Severity Warning
Data Collector System processor use
Threshold processor queue length > 2
Alert System processor use warning condition

Is this a hardware fault, maybe a loose memory stick ??? Has anyone had similar problems.

Replace the memory and see what happens... you shouldnt really be getting page faults...

Have you got anything you can pinch some memory out off..

dont work with sbs so I dont know what tools you get with it..

I took out the memory and swapped it about, this sorted it.
