Default Getting to know Excel and word quickly....

I have an interview for a job next week for which I have said I am competent at word and excel. Never used them as I use mainly photoshop on Macs. I'm asking around friends of friends to see if anyone can run me through the basics. How hard can it be??

No that hard, but I've used office for years and years, go to "Youtube" and there'll be a few million videos showing the the basics of each system....

Good thinking. Watched one already. I have Open Office which seems pretty similar so I can practice on that.

To be honest mate you can pretty much learn 'on the job' - the later versions of MS Office are made to be picked up and used. It's only when you start getting into more advanced stuff that you need to delve deeper

Yep it seems straight forward enough though Excel is much cleverer than I expected. I think I'll be OK and it may not even be a word processing test on the day though apparently there is a test!
