Default bf3 for xbox - opinions???

well i bought it

graphics are good but they are a little bit stuttery not so you notice but it makes me feel sick after a few games. a few graphical glitches but nothing too bad , feels like a pc game rather than a polished smooth console game.

controls do my head in though , i wish i could arrange the buttons the same as my cod settings but not quite, you have to have either melee or crouch/prone on the thumbstick button, drives me mad , i keep clicking it whenever i`m under pressure in fact i click it all the time.

sound is amazing.

some ppl seem to slate the cod series but there`s a reason its a best seller, ease of use if you are a beginner, smooth, crisp graphics which are easy on the eye. nice and colourful. i cant quite put my finger on it but bf3 just doesnt cut it imo, its too frantic and confusing, hard to see opponents, havent got a clue how to uprade my weapons even though i have won some upgrades.

btw if anyone wants it for xbox have mine for £30 posted

So you slate the game then try and sell it for a few pence cheaper than new

Classic

http://direct.asda.com/Battlefield-3...url=hotukdeals

With code KB6B-OOXF-ALBI-UYDF its price is £30.57

I'm a big COD fan and to be honest I havent heard good things about BF3 so will prob give it a miss

Lol, no offence taken, I just tried to not slate it and give a honest opinion, I've stuck it on ebay, they are getting 30 quid on there.

I'm loving this game, the sound is awsome, especially on my turtle beach headset,
Graphics are very good and the glitches will get rectified in the next week i imagine.
The scale of the game is so much bigger than COD.
I've always enjoyed battlefield and COD, people have to recognise they are different games took a while to get into it but now i'm loving it, have COD on pre order, i will be playing both games.

As per the main BF3 thread in here - I was MW2 through & through a) as I was really good at it (got into top 40k ranking on PSN) and b) it was easy just to login and play a game quickly. But its very samey samey with the action happening in the same places on each map. Then you get the quick scopers and the noob tubers who just spoil games imho.

I was all set to get MW3 but played the BF3 beta and at first hated it (you only have to read my moaning on the beat thread in here) but most of the glitches were sorted out quickly and I really got into it and was gutted they switched it off. Each game is different and learning to drive the tanks and fly choppers & jets is just another aspect. I still cant believe how realistic it all looks as you trundle along in your tank with a supporting A10 screaming overhead. Some of the games go on for 30+ mins whereas MW2 TDM can be over in 5 mins sometimes.

Id say give it some more time especially if you didnt play the beta. Its a lot harder to play well but you cant expect to just jump from CoD games and be at the same level in BF.

I play with headphones as have my PS3 in my office but will have to have a crack on my 5.1 amp when its down in the lounge over Xmas. It is cool when a sniper with the MOD is firing several shots and you can just hear the impacts very close as you run for you life to find some cover. Shame there isnt a barrett 50 cal that can shoot through brick walls
