I admit it - I like OSX over windows, but I do go gooey over the design of apple stuff.

Logitech makes a trackpad...

If Apple stuff looked like that I'd buy a PC.

Love my Trackpad and Lion though, a practical style icon.

i guess they'd get sued if it was a plain 'aluminium' plate, but there must be a compromise where some kids toy manufacturer wasn't involved ?!

The good news is the PC brigade won't be able to call me a **** for buying a trackpad as they've caught up now.

I don't get these. I just find them more hassle than they are worth. I've only used the apple one so can't be sure if this is an improvement but I doubt it.

i use a trackpad for desk top work on my mac pro and my mouse for photoshop and minecraft/games. it's so much quicker... in fact, i quite often forget to use the mouse when in photoshop and continue to use the trackpad.

my brain is totally happy with Lion's scroll directions now - it's much more intuitive. especially when i demonstrate moving paper on a desk, people are like, 'oh that makes sense'.

Lion is an improvement for the trackpad, Windows 8 might adopt it.
