X-Box Creator quits

If the dire sales weren't bad enough...
Seamus Blackley, one of the men behind the Xbox, has resigned
He helped design its hardware and development tools, as well as being one of the Xbox's early evangelists. But now he's gone, apparently to become an independent games producer.
The timing of his resignation - a month before the big E3 show in LA - could have been better, but it has nothing to do with Xbox's slow sales outside of America. After all, his work on the console was long since done.
On a positive note, Xbox owners now have the prospect of playing games created by somebody who knows the machine better than anyone else.
