Media player classic

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of MPC , but when I open the software the older version of the player runs as default ?
I have tried to uninstall the old version , but only the new version is listed in the uninstall programs .
Any ideas chaps ?

What won't work properly? I've not had 1080p issues with vlc.

Have you traced back to the install folder where mpc is supposed to be and look how many .exe there is of it.
