Default laptop infection

Well I turned my laptop on this morning to be greeted with an infection notice, I have 38 infections, 2 malicious programs, 26 viruses, 2 adware, 6 spyware etc.

When I click on the "sort it at a cost" it wants £35 to get rid of the "infections" but it doesnt look genuine to me tbh

I have three accounts on the laptop, and when I log onto the other two, theres no mention of the virus ?? is this normal ??

How can I get rid of this ???

Malware bytes in safe mode with networking. It's free from there site as that website wants to charge you. Run it twice on full system and remove everything it finds when given the option.

download malwarebytes from malwarebytes.org, try and install it, it it dont then try it in safe mode, if it still dont work rename the mbam.exe file to something else like test.exe then it should run. Remove anything it finds.

If u cant get on internet - open up internet explorer, go to tools them internet options, click on the connections tab then to go lan settings, make sure there isnt a tick in the proxy server box, if there is remove it, click ok, shut down IE then try again.

The messages you receive are from malware and wont go away if you pay, they will get worse, dont give them a penny !

What I'd like to know, is how this sort of thing gets through most modern Antivirus programs?
