Must admit 2142 was one of my favourite online games of all time even with the bugs on PC. Think I racked up in excess of 300hrs ranking up to Brig Gen

Only just heard about the new release. Trailer is pretty poor tho as in content rather than gameplay.

Ohh yes, this will be the fist game i ever pay full price for on Steam

I even fancy preordering it if it lets me preload the game.

I will be buying a new graphics card about the time this releases, at the moment i am looking at GTX580`s but i cant seam to work out why they are so expensive over the GTX480 when you compare the gains....

Not even going to bother buying this for the Xbox.

 

I got to Major General (2*) in BF2 before I decided enough was enough I really got into flying the bombers but I was slightly lax in targetting the right people....

 

I'm still playing bf2142 !! - current fave map is Wake Island.....
i'll certainly be looking at bf3

 

I'll be buying it don't think it's out until near the end of the year, November I think, have a look at Homefront which is out on Friday, looking very similar to Battlefield in terms of Multiplayer

 

been playing bf:bc2 alot recently and looking forward to bf3

also used to play bf1942, bf1942:desert combat mod and bf2

 

Just seen some trailers for Battlefield 3....WOW! Looks awesome!

I'm assuming they are for the PC version but I see they are releasing it for the consoles at the end of the year, I'm looking forward to seeing more!

 

Which Trailer? Only one Ive seen is the rooftop with the sniper who they take out with a rocket launcher. Didnt really show any gameplay as was more just FMV.

 

I've seen that one and a slightly longer one of them running through some streets and alleyways too.

Not suggesting online multiplayer would be as good but even so, as a one player FPS it looks amazing!

It looks like it from the trailer, they are certainly laying prone.

Looks good. Love the effects of the bullets hitting the ground around the feet of the enemy when he's shooting from the bridge.

Dice have,imo, serioulsy upped the stakes in the modern warfare FPS market.

 

they were advertising this on tv today -- no release date, but it must be near !!

 

Not close at the mo no specific release date so Q4 2011 is only mentioned
