Dropped iphone 4
Has anyone had the misfortune to drop their iphone 4 ,well i did today and yes it smashed ,luckily though it was the rear glass only ,i dont suppose apple would repair it free ,i have seen some on ebay which range from £7 -£30 for the rear glass and looked on youtube on how to fix but dont really know what to expect from ebay as most say genuine but clearly could
Be copies.
I normally have a bumper on it but took it off to change the screen protectors and got knocked

I had a problem with calls on my iphone4 and the staff at Meadowhall had no hesitation in swapping it for a brand new replacement handset since they couldn't fix it there and then. Apple genius bar is very good for customer service. Book a slot online beforehand so you don't have to wait too long.

I had the same thing mate, we have 2 iPhones, a Macbook, an iPad and an AppleTV.
My iPhone 3GS developed a crack by the charging dock and when I took it to the Apple store they told me my phone was 55 days out of warranty so it would cost £130 for a replacement.
I wasn't prepared to accept that so we complained and within 2 weeks Apple Customer Care in Ireland rang the store manager and authorised a brand new 3GS free of charge.
