Just traded in my PS2 for the black beast expecting it to have optical output to connect to my digi amp and can't seem to find reference to hooking up for 5.1 sound?

Anyone sorted this already?............Cheers

I imported an american xbox a bit ago, I presume its the same but for 5.1 sound you need the advanced av pack which has an optical connection on the extended box also s-video
the sound on halo with 5.1 is amazing

i think the advanced av pack is about £25, not sure?

Tracked down a Joytech lead with scart/s-video and optical lead all for a bargain price of 14.99 from PC World and Subster I have to agree with you that Halo on 5.1 digital just rocks just dragged myself away and off to bed.................but I don't have to get up for work tomorrow maybe I'll just have one more go..............
