has anybody got a 750 or 800 P3 slot 1 CPU they would like to sell, as my sons has just gone phut!

You dont need a Slot 1 CPU, you can get the FCPGA CPU and a Slot 1 riser card.

Why do you need a Slot1 cpu if you can get a converter??

Basically i have had a bad experience with a convertor and wouldn't trust one as far as i could spit it!
I'm a great believer in the old rallying axiom KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) - or don't complicate matters when you don't have to

I've been running a Converter on mine for well over a year now, no problems with it, its an Asus iirc.

Other than that you may as well buy a new board and CPU.
