iPhone 3.1.2 Windows Jailbreak Now Available

1. Restore a clean build of 3.1.2
2. Close iTunes
3. Copy Blackra1n.exe to C:\ and run as Administrator (No need to run as admin for XP users)
4. Click "Make It Rain"
5. Wait for the phone to shut down, then instanly press and hold POWER + HOME
6. As soon as the Apple logo appears, let go of POWER but keep holding HOME until the Blackra1n logo appears on the screen.
7. Enjoy :-)

He's not released a Mac version yet though, which is a shame.
Dev team have caught up though, have some Pwnage Pie. I used PT 3.1.4 last night and the phone is now at 3.1.2 and seems ok.
The only quirk I've seen is not being able to sync custom ring tones via iTunes. They are showing up in the ringtone item within the Library section in iTunes, and I can drag and drop them to the iPhone's ringtone section, it syncs, but they are not there. iToner does get them onto the phone though, so that's something, but not sure what Apple has changed as it was working previously.

Looks like you need to set the phone to sync ringtones, which will wipe out any music or video on the iPhone (it does alert you to this) and then once synced, you go back in, enable "manually manage music and videos" which was previously set but the ringtone sync turned it off, then copy your music back on and it seems fine. Not tried copying another ringtone onto it yet, but will try.
