£400 budget for Digital Camera - which one ?

A mate is after a Digital Camera to take his holiday snaps with etc.

Who's doing the best stuff at the moment ?

Any good round-ups / reviews I can read up on ?

Fujifine pix range mate are the absolute DB

Look at either of the following

Finepix 4800
Finepix 6800
Finepix 4900

You will probably get the 4800 for that sort of money, I paid £415 for my 4900 2nd hand.

I would recommend the Fuji 6800z.

The current best price (new) is around £410.

I would also look at the Canon IxusV or Ixus300
The V does movies, same size as the original digital Ixus but still only has 2x optical zoom, the 300 has 3x zoom but is bigger.
