scratched xbox360 game
Right ive just brought a game of a fellow scoobynetter and when arrived today the game is so scratched it keeps crashing , The disc has a few normal scratches on it but more noticable ones are the circular ones as if the xbox has been stood up and the disc is rubbed and made a score in it .
So the question is can i get the disc skimmed ??? and will it play ok ?
I know i should contact the seller but for the sake of £10 i dont wanna make a issue out of it like some would .
cheers WAZ

Try a repair at Gamestation for a couple of quid.
If that dont work, you could hire a copy from Blockbusters and may be get the discs mixed up.

You could buy a copy new and return it as scratched for a refund If the original purchase receipt is available you can ask for a replacement as what is actually paid for is the license to use the copyrighted intellectual property, not the physical media. They are obliged to replace it should it become faulty I believe.

you can get them skimmed easy enough, it should fix it, although my gears of war 1 disc was not so lucky, it looked mint, but it stopped playing, so i had it skimmed and it came back looking mint, but still did not play
what i did was lend a mates copy, install it to the hard drive and then give it back to him, i can then use my copy to play the game from the hard drive
