Got the above pod 16GB. Put the sony adaptor into car to mathc it wi sony stereo everything works fine but it wont charge the pod. Also had the pod in a individual docking station and again it doesnt charge the pod. Am i missing something here or is ther some setting needs changin???

 

iPod nano (4th generation): Charging the battery

I'd guess that your sony adaptor isn't suitable for this latest gen Ipod. I vaguely remember people having trouble with the Iphone 3G and 2nd gen Ipod touch as they changed the pin out of the connectors?

 

Yep, it does seem they've changed the charging on the 4th gen Nano too so your old accesories including the car kit won't charge the Nano
