My current ISP is Lineone/Tiscali...it used to be very good, connecting first time etc but recently its gone down hill. Taking several attempts to connect, dropping connection regular, very ssssllllooooooooooooowwwww down loads etc.
To the point that today after the Worthington cup final I couldnt connect at all, it either said "unable to establish a connection" or "invalid username or password". Even went to a friends house who uses same ISP and he was getting the same thing.Guess they got a problem!

Anyway I've just used IE wizard to get me a connection and am logged on with ukonline(don't know what its costing?)

Can any one recommend an ISP that works and is reliable. Local exchange isnt up to ADSL yet and there's no cable so its a normal telephone connection I'm after.

HELP !

pipex are good, but expensive.
we used to use AOL. always got a connection, but there are downsides to such an invasive internet experience giver. When I uninstalled it though, it went! I search through the registry and everything - all gone!

goto ispreview.co.uk. your wildest dreams come true.

You had problems with Tiscali - I don't belive it

I'll second Pipex, very good - but not cheap.

Ukonline is free. I use them at home and is usually pretty good.

Lineone/Tiscali back up and running now. Still using them for the moment plus using UKonline as aback up.

Waiting for broadband in my area
