Cool Anyone have any experience pre-ordering games?

Cracking deal on resident Evil 5 for Xbox 360 at the mo, £30 at sendit.com Today only!

Thing is, I really want it on the release day, does anyone know if these companies get the games with a sufficient time window before the official release such that it will arrive on your doormat on the day of release? The Sendit.com website isn't clear on this. Game seem to suggest you get it on the day of release. Should I pay a fiver more and go with Game, or does anyone have good experiences of pre-orders with Sendit.com.

Ta,

I used pre-ordering for the first time (by mail order) on Wednesday for SF4. Ordered it from GameStation on-line and it arrived on Thursday. Was not due for release until today. That impressed me!

I only use shopto.net for pre-orders now. Incredible service. They'll now compensate you with £3 if for some reason it doesn't arrive on time.

Shopto for me also.

Only thing I found is that sometimes they send out the EU version and not the UK version, so you can't trade them in at shops when you've finished.
