Lo there,

i have a gameboy advance, have seen that you can get 256 MB cartridges to hold copies of your games onto,

Anyone used / tried them. Is it worth getting?

Cheers

Thumbs up

Was reading up on these last nite, as it happens.

They look pretty useful, connect to your parallel port and upload/download roms onto the flash cards or out of your carts. Although I read that the 256Mb carts don't actually hold 256 Megabytes tho I think its something like 4-6 games.

Pretty Useful putting all of your games on one card, and for backup purposes (fiddly little things). If somewhat expensive at the moment. I think the 256Mb jobby is a fair bit over £130.

Cool

Know two people who have got one and they work brilliantly. Obviously just for backing up your own games so you don't have to go through the hassle of actually changing cartridges. I heard a rumour that you can download roms from the internet and copy them to these cards but obviously I would know absolutely nothing about that. Except it works alledgedly.....

You can buy them from here http://www.divineo.co.uk/cgi-bin/div-uk/index.html and get next day delivery.

I don't have one but have read that they are VERY good. The roms can be downloaded from the web (All the latest JAP/US games are available for download and the best part of it is that they are only 2 or 3mb's in size, zipped of course!)

I'm not so sure I should be posting this url but have a look here for the roms - TOP SITE!!!!

Hope this helps you!

Nick..
