Help !!! recently carried out a few windows xp auto updates and accepted the update to the latest Internet Explorer version, unfortunatly dont like the new page formatt, prefering the old style, tried a systmn resore to a few days ago but unfortunatly the latest IE style is still there ??
do I have to go into add / remove programmes to get rid off the latest IE update or what ??
did also notice thats since this update I can no longer click on a web link from within an email for it to automatically open that particular page, instaed nothing happens now ??!!
okay how do I go back to the previuos version ??

Not a good idea to go back to IE6. Security was a big issue with that browser, it used more resources, and it's no longer supported by Microsoft.
What exactly don't you like about IE7? The pages are rendered exactly the same as in any other browser. It's only the navigation buttons that are different (and it takes about 5 seconds to learn the new positions of those).
What email program are you using?

Have to say I did not like it either - just go to add and remove and rip it off. Saying that I no longer use IE anyway. I have yet to see anyone in any of our offices using 7.

My company have also not yet deployed IE7, our tests revealed that several of our key applications are not compatible with it. Some users have it, but only those who do not use this application.
As for rolling back, you can either use system restore to go back to before the install or use add/remove programs.

Good. Any organization, regardless of size, that recommends using a product which has known security issues, memory problems, rendering problems, and is no longer supported by the developer needs to review their policies, especially when there is a newer, more secure, more stable, and faster alternative
Just because a company is large, doesn't mean that they are good. It just means they are cheap
