Formatting a Network drive as FAT32
I have just got a network drive which I plan to plug in to my router so I can store stuff on. It says I need to format the 1tb disk into under 300gb partitions and use fat32 as thats the only way to use the FTP software. Windows Vista only gives me the option to format using NTFS I have also downloaded a free disk manager but again its only giving me NTFS options. Any ideas?

I am looking at getting one of these. Do they simply just plug into the router via ethernet and then other computers connected on the network can access it etc?
What are the access times like say I had a load of media on it and I was streaming to the xbox?
(sorry for the hijack)

Mine is one of these LAN Drive - Network Attached Storage NAS external hard disk enclosure I got a 1TB disk with it for £120 from another company but can't find the link just now. I have tried it plugged into my router but it seems quite slow. I read if you partition the disk into under 300GB partitions it should run faster. The only downside is to use it with NAT it needs to be FAT32.
