DOMAIN MX RECORDS
#2
If you Win2K (or presumably NT or XP - dunno about 98/ME) open a command prompt (dos Box)
Type "nslookup"
then "set type=MX"
then the domain you want to know about...
e.g.
> set type=MX
> scoobynet.co.uk
Server: linux-router.das-home.freeserve.co.uk
Address: 172.27.1.254
Non-authoritative answer:
scoobynet.co.uk MX preference = 10, mail exchanger = smtp.esoftsolutions.co.uk
scoobynet.co.uk MX preference = 20, mail exchanger = relay-1.mail.griffin.net.uk
scoobynet.co.uk nameserver = auth1.ns.griffin.net.uk
scoobynet.co.uk nameserver = ns1.esoftsolutions.co.uk
ns1.esoftsolutions.co.uk internet address = 217.79.96.7
