My USB stick has stopped working for some reason, was ok a couple of weeks ago when I last used it, now... nothing.. nadda.. not a bean..

Any ideas or suggestions, or is it dead?

Any way to bring it back to life? I could do with some of the data off it at least (without paying someone it's not that important).

 

stick it on another PC and check if it will work.

 

Yeah, tried that on 3 and still nothing..

 

Does it show it in Disc Management as mine did this where it would not show in My computer but you could see and read it in disc management?

Check that the contacts have not become too flat on it as well because just before mine went south it had to be pressed on to get the computer to see it.

 

Not sure if I can see it in disk management, will try when I get in tonight from work.

 

It can't be seen in disk management and I've tried forcing it in all directions, and still nothing, I'm starting to think this is now fubar.

Any other suggestions or ideas before it ends up in the bin?
