When the first game is arranged we can sort out when is going to happen with the server. Expect...

1. Change password and only the two players know it
2. Start up HLTV and everyone connect to this.

The ref can join the HLTV server. Yes you can see the HLTV with in game menu / gamespy / (insert tool here) but should be easier to just type 'password scoobydoo' & 'connect 195.92.252.206:27099' within the console.

If there is a game tonight, the two players need to ICQ or e-mail me and I will respond with password. May work on a quick and dirty web page.

Can we connect to the spectator proxy direct from cs in game menu as normal spectator proxies ? (Rather than the methjod you described in another thread ?)

We need 3 player limit, 2 players and one dead ref (I'm beggining to think that ref's are a bad idea, we've assigned them no responsibility and it seems as though it's hard enough to get 2 players together )

Edit to add : In reply to your 2nd post, we'd already said 7-8 for the matches but bu99er it, whenever you want (the player limit will hopefully be set so that others cant join for the duration).

Did we not used to have access to an ickle server (6 max)? I don't think its running at the moment & I can't remember the donor but that could easilly be changed to 2 max + speccys & renamed

STi - Deathmatch Server Of Honour or somesuch

How about just the 2 players and ref ? Then we do the semi's and final on STi locked ?

Could it handle the three easily (without spectators) but more to the point (I appreciate that you would have to provide it) could it be available (would solve a lot of booking issues)

 

crack - was quite easy to beat me considering i was driving down the M5 from Bristol at the time you posted that

as per my royal rumble thread....

could book specific BW servers for this to happen on if its taking over the locked one or causing too many problems with when people can play / how many join etc.

i can limit the passwords knowledge to as few as required and the rcon password ONLY to the nominated REF - ie ME
